All the kitchens at Hotel LeDomaine are led by Head Chef Marc Segarra, who has trained at restaurants of great prestige and international influence and worked with the top Michelin-star chefs in Spain. Marc bases his cuisine on a perfect blend of typical local ingredients and the most innovative creative techniques.
Since 2014, when it had been open for only two and a half years, Refectorio was awarded a Michelin Star, a recognition it has maintained to present day.

Marc Segarra has been the executive chef of Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine since February 2011 and worked with his team to add his name to the food served at the hotel’s restaurants and winery.
Very demanding with himself, every season he focuses on reinventing his ideas, going a step further and ensuring that both he and his team give their very best. Today, their cuisine is defined by creativity based on tradition and connection with the local area and seasonal products.
His main inspiration lies in the atmosphere and surroundings of Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine and Marc Segarra uses elements such as nature, the historical and artistic legacy and the winery to impress his own, unique style on his dishes.
