What is this experience about?
This experience allows guests to become a farmer for the day, as they set to work on Abadía Retuerta’sorganic vegetable garden. They will follow in the footsteps of the monks who lived at Abadía Retuerta back in the 12th century, whose allotment was located inexactly the sameplace. Participants will gather fresh, seasonal vegetables, which will later be prepared and tasted.
Guided tour around the vegetable garden, highlighting the different aromatic and medicinal plant varieties found there.
• Explanations of basic notions about cultivation and soil management.
• Collection and tasting:participants will collect some seasonal vegetables, and they will get to try them alongside one of our own exclusive Abadía Retuerta wines.
All the necessary materials for the experience will be provided.
